Summit is a program for those in grades 3 – 9 who would like to receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation and / or First Communion. It is a two year process during which we work closely with each family to bring them more fully into the life of the parish and Church.

Grades 3 – 5:  For the first year, children are placed in a small group with others of the same grade as part of our KidMin program. KidMin meets on Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 am from September through May.   The 2nd year takes place in a casual classroom setting where they dive more fully into the teachings of the Church and are also specifically prepared to receive the Sacraments of Baptism (if necessary), Reconciliation and First Communion. Classes meet on Sundays from 10:15 – 11:15 am from September through May.

Grades 6 – 9: For our older students there are two main components to the program.   First, they will attend either MSM or HSM depending on their grade level. MSM, or Middle School Ministry, is for those in grades 6 – 8 and meets on Tuesday nights from 7 – 8:15 pm September – May. HSM, or High School Ministry, is for those in grades 9 – 12 and meets on Thursday nights from 7:45 – 9:45 pm September – May. Second, there is a casual classroom experience where they dive deeper into what the Church teaches and are also specifically prepared to receive the Sacraments of Baptism (if necessary), Reconciliation and First Communion. Classes meet on Fridays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm from September through May.
